Senior Manager, DevOps

Location: Remote

Salary: $140,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility based on individual and company performance.

What you will do

• Lead and manage the DevOps team while setting technical direction across multiple teams.
• Modernize delivery platforms and govern Pulumi-based infrastructure as code, configuration management, and release engineering standards.
• Establish CI/CD governance, deployment safety practices, and developer enablement based on AWS Well-Architected principles.
• Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, security, and compliance of DevOps processes and tools.
• Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to automate and streamline cloud-based microservice delivery.
• Manage incident resolution, KPIs, budgets, staffing, employee development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
• 3+ years of leadership responsibility.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud and cloud-based microservice infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and tools, including GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, plus familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
