Software Test Lead (Automotive)

Location: Bangalore, India; hybrid with a minimum of three in-office days per week

What you will do

• Manage test activities across multiple test domains, categories, and work groups.
• Monitor project health through the top 10 test metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Build quality test infrastructure and test farms.
• Plan budgets, forecast spending, manage travel, and oversee hardware and common assets.
• Manage suppliers, improve supplier deliverables, and coordinate resource onboarding and induction.
• Support team engagement, motivation, communication, and delivery under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience in automotive, including 2+ years in test management.
• Experience or knowledge in software testing, preferably in automotive or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of testing quality standards and the ability to ramp up quickly on complete system testing.
• Knowledge of telematics connectivity ECUs is advantageous.
• Fluent commercial and technical English for writing, documentation, and conversation.
• Strong time-management, prioritization, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• PMP certification or a relevant management certification.
• Action-oriented approach and ability to learn system architecture quickly.
