Manager, Quality Automation (AI)

Location: Onsite in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Flexible schedules, including evenings, are required to overlap with customer-facing implementation teams in North America and other global regions.

What you will do

• Lead comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain scalable UI and API automation suites using Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and REST Assured.
• Develop performance and security tests with tools such as JMeter, K6, Gatling, and OWASP ZAP, integrating them into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive AI-assisted testing, continuous testing, shift-left practices, and risk-based quality engineering.
• Collaborate with project managers, DevOps engineers, customer SMEs, implementation teams, and higher-education institutions.
• Mentor distributed Quality Engineering teams and communicate quality metrics through dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and test design techniques.
• Hands-on experience with at least two specified automation, API, performance, or security testing tools, including Playwright, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, K6, Gatling, or OWASP ZAP.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, plus Git and CI/CD tools.
• Experience in Agile development environments and enterprise software implementations.
• Ability to build, mentor, and lead distributed Quality Engineering teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Bengaluru and maintain flexible hours, including evening overlap with North American teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in IT Services, Consulting, Customer Delivery, or enterprise software implementation organizations.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and GenAI-based automation techniques.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and cloud-based applications.
