Principal Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote for candidates based in the United States or Canada, subject to applicable work authorization requirements

What you will do

• Define and evolve discovery strategies for unmet customer needs, market whitespace, and new opportunities across debt, lending, payments, and consumer finance.
• Conduct customer and market discovery with customers, prospects, stakeholders, and market data.
• Develop hypotheses and run lean experiments, prototypes, concierge MVPs, and pilots to validate opportunities.
• Build business cases and facilitate go/no-go investment decisions with Product and Sales leadership.
• Own approved opportunities from concept through 0-to-1 launch, measurement, and post-launch growth.
• Manage the opportunity pipeline and connect customer insights, analytics, and market trends with product strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with meaningful outcomes at a senior or director level.
• At least 3 years of fintech experience, particularly in debt, payments, credit, or lending.
• Experience building and scaling B2B products for enterprise customers.
• Repeated success taking products or capabilities from concept to launch and establishing product discovery processes.
• Strong experimentation, strategic thinking, analytical, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada and meet applicable work authorization requirements. SQL, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and knowledge of regulated financial frameworks such as FCRA, UDAAP, or TILA are desirable.

• Familiarity with FCRA, UDAAP, or TILA.
• Fluency with SQL, experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, and cohort analysis.
