Product Manager III (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end roadmap for a kids and family financial empowerment product from discovery and requirements through launch and iteration.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitive dynamics, trends, user needs, product performance, and engagement data.
• Develop user stories, personas, and journey maps for children, parents, and guardians.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, credit union partners, and other stakeholders to define and deliver product requirements.
• Lead ideation, development, and launch of features supporting financial engagement, savings, goal-setting, and financial literacy.
• Ensure product initiatives meet regulatory requirements for financial products for minors, including COPPA and CFPB guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, computer science, engineering, finance, education, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of product management experience in fintech, digital banking, financial wellness, or financial education.
• Passion for financial empowerment and education, ideally with experience building products for younger audiences, families, or underserved communities.
• Proven experience managing products through the full lifecycle, from 0-to-1 launch through growth and iteration.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for financial products, especially those serving minors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, market research, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working with financial institutions, credit unions, or community banks.
• Agile/Scrum certification or experience in an Agile environment.
