Principal Product Manager, Discovery & Growth (Fintech)

What you will do

• Set the strategy and process for discovering unmet needs and whitespace across debt, lending, and consumer finance.
• Shape opportunities into testable hypotheses and design lean experiments, prototypes, concierge MVPs, and pilots.
• Build business cases for validated opportunities, including revenue hypotheses and supporting evidence.
• Drive go/no-go decisions with Product and Sales leadership and own 0-to-1 execution through launch and growth.
• Define product measurement from day one, track performance against revenue hypotheses, and capture organizational learnings.
• Maintain the opportunity hypothesis pipeline and advise leadership on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and adjacent markets.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with senior or director-level ownership of outcomes.
• At least 3 years of fintech experience, ideally across debt, payments, credit, or lending.
• Experience building B2B products for enterprise customers.
• Repeated experience leading 0-to-1 product builds, including ownership of discovery processes.
• Demonstrated rigor in testing unproven ideas and making evidence-based decisions to kill or support bets.
• Ability to work with customers, executive leadership, data, and engineering teams with limited structure.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with regulated financial environments, including FCRA, UDAAP, and TILA.
• Fluency with SQL and experiment design, including A/B tests and cohort analysis.
