Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with at least 60% of each month spent in the office; new starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do

• Investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows, and data structures.
• Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements and produce specifications and other analysis deliverables.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, presenting findings and actions to the business.
• Define user acceptance tests for new or improved business processes and IT systems.
• Perform process modelling, data mapping, gap analysis, impact analysis, and risk analysis.
• Support internal development teams and external suppliers during change implementation, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional Business Analyst experience.
• Possession of, or substantial progress towards, a recognised Business Analysis qualification.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols.
• Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and their practical application.
