Business Analyst

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; hybrid workplace

Salary: £43,949–£47,257 per year, plus a £4,000 car allowance

What you will do

• Work with legal, finance, HR, and support-service stakeholders to understand business needs and define prioritised requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and document current and future business processes using recognised modelling techniques and LUCID.
• Identify practical solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client experience.
• Work with delivery teams and external suppliers to maintain requirements traceability and manage changes.
• Plan and support system and user acceptance testing, including test scenarios, business participation, and outcome recording.
• Support business and technology change through communication, process documentation, training needs, and transition into business use.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Business Analyst experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong business analysis, business process modelling, requirements documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with LUCID, other process-modelling tools, recognised modelling techniques, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience documenting test plans and performing software testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, listening, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data interrogation during testing and problem analysis.
• Understanding of the case lifecycle for personal injury and employment rights claims.
