Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Location: U.S.-based hybrid role in RTP, North Carolina, or San Jose, California; only candidates in these locations will be considered. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $175,000–$215,000 annual On Target Earnings (OTE), including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Own annual planning, forecasting, variance analysis, budget management, and close activities for Engineering and Product business units.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to guide investment, resourcing, and growth decisions.
• Drive monthly and quarterly operating expense forecast cycles, spend tracking, and optimization.
• Prepare business analyses, financial models, management reporting, and decision support for executive stakeholders.
• Improve self-service reporting, data quality, financial processes, tools, and models.
• Translate product and go-to-market activity into operational and financial insights, including risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and 12+ years of experience in FP&A and/or finance-related roles.
• Strong financial model-building, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Subject matter expertise in Finance OpEx planning and/or FP&A.
• Knowledge of standard accounting and finance practices, departmental procedures, and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and collaborate with staff, managers, and executives.
