HVAC Service Technician

Location: Lenexa, Kansas, United States. Field-based work performed on-site at customer locations.

Hourly base pay: $23.80–$43.85.

What you will do

• Commission, start up, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, customers, and internal partners on installations, repairs, retrofits, and facility setups.
• Use software, handheld technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete service work.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through direct customer contact and reliable equipment support.
• Follow strict safety standards and maintain records for company-issued equipment and assets.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification.

• Technical school education or formal HVAC training.
