Project Manager/Civil Engineer (Construction)

Location: Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey

What you will do

• Develop facilities and infrastructure project packages, including scopes of work, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Support the development and award of construction contracts and manage projects through design and construction execution.
• Evaluate contractor proposals and submittals, oversee design and construction documents, and coordinate government-furnished property.
• Manage and inspect construction projects, documenting progress, deficiencies, performance, acceptance, post-acceptance, and warranty issues.
• Coordinate with users, agencies, clients, government officials, and other stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in design and project and construction management; four or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements, ANSI, NEC, NFPA, OSHA, U.S. Air Force safety directives, and U.S. and Turkish construction practices.
• Turkish citizenship and a current favorable Turkish security background check are required.
• English proficiency at minimum Level II is required.
• A current Class B driver's license is required; male candidates must have completed military service.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. Government contracting processes, U.S. building codes, and local building codes and standards.
• Experience working on Incirlik Air Base.
