College Intern - NPI System Interaction Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Identify opportunities to reduce manual engineering effort, simplify data consolidation, and improve process visibility.
• Develop or support AI and automation solutions, including scripts, dashboards, workflow tools, and data templates.
• Translate market needs into technical requirements and connect workflow improvements with engineering execution.
• Support system-level design, testing, and characterization of initial and over-life product performance.
• Automate test data analysis and reporting and assist with structured lean problem-solving and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing partners across local and international teams to support product launches.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Available for a 5–6 month full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Interest or experience in AI tools, automation, scripting, data analytics, dashboarding, or workflow digitization.
• Knowledge or interest in inkjet print systems, printhead integration, reliability testing, statistics, and R&D product life-cycle execution.
• Strong analytical, systemic thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to collaborate across different time zones.
