Salary: $115,100–$172,600 per year

What you will do

• Provide operational psychology expertise, guidance, and direct clinical services to special operations forces.
• Develop and initiate resiliency programs focused on preventing and treating behavioral health issues.
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, and collateral information.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, including patients managing illnesses or injuries.
• Support rehabilitation and service-member readiness while collaborating with military medical treatment facilities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance, is required.
• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association-accredited institution.
• Completion of an American Psychological Association-accredited psychology internship or residency.
• At least two years of peer-reviewable clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted psychologist licensure in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a government setting, such as the Department of Defense or Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Previous military experience or background.
