Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT

Location: Walmart Supercenter, 317 S Cascade Dr, Springville, NY 14141-9108, United States

Hourly wage: $19.00–$35.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding grounds.
• Mow, trim, prune, and perform year-round landscaping activities.
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles.
• Work with associates to coordinate landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.
• Follow safety, security, integrity, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of landscaping or gardening experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license held for at least 3 years and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and pre-hire medical certification.
• No recent DUI, DWI, OUI, alcohol- or drug-related reckless driving incidents, serious traffic violations, or preventable commercial-vehicle accidents.

Nice to have

• Spanish proficiency.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in engineering, maintenance, construction management, or a related field.
• Third-party management experience.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar office software.
• Required state or local licensing where applicable.
