Environmental Program Manager (Environmental)

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in or near Albany, Glens Falls, or Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000

What you will do

• Manage environmental projects with a specific focus on wetlands, species, and stormwater.
• Coordinate and interact with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Maintain and expand client relationships across the regional footprint.
• Identify new project opportunities and prepare detailed proposals and budgets.
• Lead, manage, and mentor junior-level staff within the Eastern NY permitting team.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Environmental, Ecology, or Biology.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in delineation, permitting, and jurisdictional determinations of freshwater wetlands and streams.
• Expert knowledge of New York local, state, and federal regulations regarding wetlands and protected species.
• Ability to perform QA/QC for deliverables and provide critical review/edits.
• Experience in cost estimating and project proposing.
• Proven ability to serve as a firm representative and establish business relationships.
