Maintenance and Facilities Manager

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States. On-site role with a regular 1st shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, plus weekly visits across all three shifts for employee interaction.

Salary: $112,000–$140,000 annual, dependent on skills and experience. Annual bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the Maintenance and Facilities departments and supervise approximately 20 personnel.
• Plan and execute building maintenance, facilities operations, preventive maintenance, and maintenance schedules.
• Manage multi-million-dollar capital projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Develop reliability strategies, system redundancy, and contingency plans for critical infrastructure such as air compressors, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Monitor SAP preventive maintenance metrics and other performance measures, preparing reports, budgets, and analysis for leadership.
• Coordinate site safety, sustainability, regulatory reporting, facilities planning, space allocation, and cross-functional operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive maintenance and facilities leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, facilities management, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical, and architectural systems, as well as equipment repair and purchasing.
• Knowledge of reliability measures and techniques, applicable laws and regulations, safety procedures, and compliance programs.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, time-management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Facilities management certification.
• PMP certification.
• Continuous Improvement certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM.
