Network Engineer (Low-Latency Networking)

What you will do

• Design and support high-performance, low-latency networks across co-locations, data centers, and offices.
• Work with multicast, routing, switching, security, and high-performance computing technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, document, and optimize network infrastructure with global engineering teams.
• Perform network changes, market connectivity tests, circuit migrations, and infrastructure migrations.
• Coordinate with data center teams, telecommunications carriers, exchanges, and other external partners.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend network maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical and theoretical experience with complex high-performance networks in financial, enterprise, or service provider environments.
• Experience with client-server architecture, network design, and documenting network topology.
• Experience with Arista EOS, Cisco IOS, Nexus-OS, PAN-OS, Fortinet, and Palo Alto security appliances.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, PIM, MSDP, IPSec, and GRE, including implementation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MRTG, Graphite, Grafana, Nagios, SNMP-based tools, Python automation, and Unix/Linux system administration.
