Systems Engineer – VeloCloud SD-WAN/SD-Branch (MSP/SP) (SD-WAN)

What you will do

• Manage a dedicated book of MSP/SP accounts as the primary technical relationship owner.
• Help partners design, package, and launch differentiated SD-WAN and SD-Branch managed services built on the Arista portfolio.
• Develop and deliver tailored enablement programs for GTM, operations, and NOC teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of VeloCloud SD-Branch into partner operational frameworks using REST APIs and orchestration.
• Lead solution design, RFx technical responses, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to align with business objectives.
• Serve as the voice of the MSP/SP channel, providing feedback to Product Management and Engineering.

Requirements

• BS/CS/CE degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in WAN, networking, or cloud services, specifically in MSP/SP environments.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), WAN technologies, and SD-WAN.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and solution design.
• Ability to establish credibility with diverse stakeholders across technical and executive levels.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux, hypervisors, and cloud computing operational tools.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting (REST APIs, Python, Ansible).
• Understanding of Service Provider routing environments, including MPLS VPN and Segment Routing (SR).
• Experience co-developing or enabling managed service offerings.
• Relevant Network Industry Certifications.
