Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Test

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; on-site, with occasional travel to manufacturing partners

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 annually, plus potential bonus and equity

What you will do

• Own manufacturing test programs from new product introduction through qualification, production ramp, and sustaining.
• Manage test hardware and software for board-, sub-module-, and system-level testing.
• Build schedules covering milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and entry and exit gates.
• Coordinate test, hardware, software, manufacturing operations, quality, and external manufacturing partners.
• Manage risks, qualification-to-production handoffs, change validation, and production readiness.
• Run reviews, status reporting, and metrics covering yield, test time, throughput, and capacity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of technical program or project management experience in hardware, electronics, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience driving cross-functional programs to schedule without direct authority over participating teams.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing test and the new-product-introduction-to-production lifecycle.
• Technical fluency across test hardware and software, with clear data-driven communication for technical and leadership audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract manufacturers or multiple manufacturing sites.
• Exposure to test development, automation, or manufacturing execution systems.
• Familiarity with quality and change-control practices in high-reliability environments.
• PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
