Technical Program Manager - Hardware (Semiconductor): Accelerating development of a semiconductor fabrication facility by translating company goals into technical programs and driving fab tools and components from requirements through production release with an accent on cross-functional hardware, software, and production execution. Focus on maintaining critical paths, mitigating technical risks, coordinating integration, and transitioning engineering builds into production.

What you will do

  • Manage fab tools and component development from requirements definition through production release.
  • Drive execution across mechanical, electrical, embedded/software, and production functions to meet specifications and schedules.
  • Maintain critical paths, identify technical risks, and define mitigations and alternate routes.
  • Communicate project status, decisions, and risks to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Build lightweight project management systems for planning, communication, and delivery visibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex hardware projects.
  • Experience delivering new products on tight engineering timelines and making trade-offs with sound judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using project management software.
  • Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Austin, Texas, and comply with applicable U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on hardware engineering experience, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with or interest in semiconductor technologies and specialized tools.
  • Experience leading NPI programs and transitioning engineering or R&D builds through production ramp.
