Technical Program Manager V (Semiconductor): Driving semiconductor capital equipment programs from early planning through commercialization with an accent on cross-functional execution, product development, and schedule and cost control. Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Onsite role with up to 10% travel; relocation eligible.

Salary: $154,000–$212,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

  • Lead new product development programs from conception and planning through commercialization.
  • Prepare project plans, manage schedules and milestones, and track tasks using project management tools.
  • Coordinate cross-division resources, vendors, and multifunctional design teams to deliver programs on time and within budget.
  • Drive cost and schedule performance for semiconductor capital equipment serving internal and external customers worldwide.
  • Provide technical input across hardware, software, systems integration, and engineering disciplines.
  • Identify critical paths, mitigate risks early, resolve project complications, and drive program closure.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of technical program management experience in semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across hardware, software, systems integration, and multiple engineering disciplines in a complex matrix environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and strong technical program management capability.
  • In-depth understanding of product development processes, milestone planning, timeline enforcement, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Experience with Epi and integrated systems is preferred.
