Location: Onsite in North Chicago/Mettawa, Illinois, United States

Salary: $160,500–$305,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Partner with Clinical Development Operations leaders and cross-functional teams to identify trends and translate analytics into action.
• Communicate objective analysis, context, and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decisions.
• Plan, organize, implement, and maintain strategies and initiatives for Clinical Development Operations.
• Present findings at executive leadership meetings and develop options for issues affecting timelines or quality.
• Develop reporting and measurement approaches for clinical study KPIs and improvement initiatives.
• Lead data-centric transformation efforts, maintain data and system integrity, and conduct short-term consulting projects for leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field such as statistics or mathematics, with direct clinical-setting experience.
• At least 10 years of pharmaceutical experience with knowledge of clinical trials, clinical trial processes and technology, and analytics.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to explain analytical and technical concepts in layman’s terms and influence senior executives and cross-functional leaders.
• Broad experience across multiple functions and in-depth knowledge of drug development issues and business needs.

Nice to have

• Consulting experience at a management consulting firm focused on life sciences.
• Intermediate proficiency in R, SAS, or other statistical packages.
• Intermediate proficiency with Spotfire, Tableau, or equivalent visualization tools.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD, or Master’s in Statistics or Mathematics.
• Deep knowledge of drug development and clinical research.
