Maintenance Technician II (Electrician)

Location: Onsite in North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $23.80–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Perform advanced and senior-level maintenance tasks within the core electrical function.
• Maintain department assets to support reliable equipment operation and quality standards.
• Assist with root cause investigations and reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
• Train Maintenance Technician I employees and support cross-functional teams.
• Develop proficiency in multiple skilled trade disciplines.
• Support continuous improvement projects and site safety initiatives while following GMP requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 5+ years of experience, a relevant certificate with 3+ years of experience, or an associate technical degree with 1+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of basic power tools and the ability to use appropriate hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Advanced proficiency in the core maintenance function and ability to perform senior-level tasks.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Windows.
• Ability to follow safety and GMP regulations.
