Maintenance Technician III (Electrician) (M-F) 2:30pm to 11:00pm. (Electrical Maintenance)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite maintenance role

Salary: $27–$48.80 per hour

What you will do

• Perform senior-level technical support within the maintenance department.
• Maintain department assets to support reliable equipment operation and quality standards.
• Perform advanced electrical and skilled maintenance tasks involving motors, controls, and PLCs.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
• Train lower-level technicians and support cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and site safety initiatives while following GMP requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience, or a relevant certificate with 5+ years, or an associate technical degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Electrical experience with motors, controls, and PLCs.
• Proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions and advanced maintenance, diagnostic, machine, or predictive tools.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Windows.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and GMP regulations.

Nice to have

• CMRT certification or equivalent accreditation.
