Staff Product Designer, Fintech Risk Experience

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $188,500–$255,000 per year, with potential eligibility for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design for customer-facing risk initiatives from discovery through launch.
• Develop a unified customer engagement and communications framework across risk-related journeys.
• Design hirify.globalive, transparent, and trustworthy experiences for AI-powered features.
• Create experiences for owners, accountants, and mid-market customers, connecting customer-facing and agent-facing risk workflows.
• Use customer research and product data to define success criteria and guide design decisions.
• Partner with product management, engineering, data, and research while improving design standards and mentoring other designers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership and shipped impact.
• Strong interaction design, prototyping, high-fidelity UI, and design rationale communication skills.
• Experience integrating AI tools into the design workflow.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, drive alignment through ambiguity, and balance customer, business, and compliance considerations.
• Ability to use research and product data to inform design strategy and decisions.
• Clear storytelling and communication skills with product partners and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Fintech, banking, or risk domain experience.
• Experience with policy explainability, compliance-heavy design, or customer communication frameworks.
• Familiarity with mature design systems.
