What you will do

• Perform intermediate in-house calibrations for torque testers, mixers, balances, ovens, and other laboratory equipment.
• Maintain calibration standards, certificates, data sheets, and equipment records in accordance with cGMP guidelines and 21 CFR Part 820.
• Diagnose intermediate mechanical and electrical equipment problems, verify repairs, and release functioning equipment.
• Coordinate vendor-related calibration services and manage equipment sent off-site.
• Support equipment qualifications, change control plans, non-conformance investigations, status reviews, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain the calibration and maintenance database and assist with training lower-level technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2–4 years of related experience, an associate degree with 1–3 years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree with 0–2 years of related experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of calibration procedures and advanced knowledge of schematics.
• Intermediate electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines, 21 CFR Part 820, and calibration standards such as ISO 17025.
• Proficiency with Windows-based Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; working knowledge of Agile and Oracle.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
