Quality Engineer II (Medical Devices): Supporting spine surgery medical device manufacturing by driving product and process quality, resolving nonconformances, and ensuring compliance with quality system and regulatory requirements with an accent on inspection methods, corrective actions, and process capability. Focus on investigating quality issues, analyzing statistical data, validating processes, and improving product reliability in an onsite manufacturing environment.

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; onsite five days per week

Salary: $79,200–$118,800 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and apply quality standards and protocols for partially finished and finished products.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other functions to establish and maintain quality standards.
  • Design and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and production equipment.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests and statistical analyses to evaluate product and material conformity.
  • Investigate nonconformances, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify reliability and documentation compliance.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, inspections, and the effectiveness of the site quality management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a technical field with 2+ years of engineering and/or quality experience, or an advanced degree in a relevant field with 0+ years of experience.
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment.
  • For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. Β§ 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
  • Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth five days per week and perform the stated physical and computer-based job requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical devices or another highly regulated industry.
  • Problem-solving or Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience with statistical methods, data analysis, or process validation.
  • ASQ CQE or CQA certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
