Production Planner II (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Candidates working in U.S. offices must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. export authorizations.

Salary: $72,000–$90,000 USD base pay annually in California.

What you will do

• Manage supply and fulfillment planning within MRP for production work orders.
• Release work orders to Production and kit requests to Inventory.
• Create material visibility through line-of-balance, material shortage, and clear-to-build reports.
• Prioritize and expedite subassemblies to support integration timelines.
• Maintain accurate production part master data and configuration demand information in MRP.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to keep production work moving.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of total work experience.
• Experience conducting build reviews and expediting materials through production.
• Knowledge of production planning fundamentals, master data management, batch processing, and issue ticket disposition.
• Proficiency with MRP systems, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, mathematics, and statistics.
• U.S. office candidates must meet applicable ITAR and U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, EV automotive, or other advanced manufacturing industries.
• Experience in a rapid-growth environment and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and U.S. export controls.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
