UI/UX Designer (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, United States; hybrid

Salary: 124,000–241,500 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Research engineering customer workflows, problems, and opportunities through interviews, usability reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Design intuitive interfaces for complex web tools, dashboards, data exploration systems, and operational workflows.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, specifications, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Partner with frontend engineers to implement and refine experiences in Vue-based applications.
• Design AI-integrated workflows for summarization, repetitive-task automation, insight discovery, and decision support.
• Define design patterns, interaction models, and UX standards for internal engineering platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of UI/UX, product design, or UX engineering experience.
• Experience designing web applications, dashboards, enterprise tools, or products for technical users.
• Strong Figma skills covering prototyping, component systems, design documentation, and collaboration workflows.
• Experience translating designs into production-quality interfaces and collaborating closely with software engineers.
• Familiarity with Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks and sufficient technical knowledge to work effectively with development teams.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI-powered assistants, recommendations, summarization, automation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Background in engineering, infrastructure, hardware, data platforms, or developer productivity.
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, design-system implementation, or current AI tools.
• Experience building rapid prototypes or proof-of-concept UI implementations.
• Understanding of data visualization, information architecture, and interaction design for complex technical workflows.
