Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing, FRI - SUN 6:00 PM - 6:30AM

Location: Onsite in Valdosta, Georgia, United States; Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM

Hourly wage: $30.85–$38.85 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

What you will do

• Repair, maintain, diagnose, install, and inspect mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Design and deploy electrical solutions, including efficient electrical cabinet systems.
• Write electrical inspection procedures and documentation covering tools, safety codes, and regulations.
• Interpret and maintain blueprints, schematics, process flow diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Monitor fabrication and design quality, inspect critical equipment, and recommend updates to improve reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance assignments and continuous-improvement activities with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least two years of experience repairing, maintaining, or diagnosing mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
• At least one year of experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Ability to perform maintenance and installation work onsite according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, provide technical support, and follow company safety, ethics, and compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Coursework in print reading, electronics, electricity, pumps, or digital electronics.
• Industrial Maintenance Certification.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Experience repairing or maintaining optical, pharmaceutical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
