Javelin Sr Systems Engineer (Defense Systems)

What you will do

• Develop the Javelin LWCLU system capabilities roadmap, system development plan, and technical documentation.
• Manage system requirements, traceability, configuration management, and change control across the lifecycle.
• Support system integration, verification and validation, test planning, analysis, and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with software, mechanical, electrical, production, quality, test, and systems engineering teams.
• Analyze system-of-systems integration capabilities and support lethality, survivability, and operational effectiveness studies.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and briefings for leadership, stakeholders, and review boards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong foundation in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate technical findings clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with Javelin systems, Javelin CLU/LWCLU, guidance, navigation, and control, or similar weapon systems.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition, test processes, and VV&A standards.
