Model-Based Systems Engineer (SysML)

Location: Must be within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts, United States. Onsite five days per week with some flexibility for occasional remote work.

What you will do

• Develop, flow down, and track system requirements.
• Architect systems and develop MBSE models of systems and interfaces.
• Plan and lead verification and validation activities.
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Support systems engineering activities across multiple programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and present technical reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, software engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or PhD may substitute for relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of systems engineering experience, with 7 years of relevant experience preferred for space or airborne systems.
• At least 2 years of model-based systems engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of SysML experience; experience with SysML MBSE tools is required.
• Interim Secret clearance is sufficient to start, with willingness to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Must be within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts, and should expect to work onsite five days per week.

• Experience with MagicDraw.
• Experience integrating hardware and software.
• Systems integration experience.
