Software Engineer (ML)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; on-site / remote. Telework is available once familiar with the environment.

Salary: $210,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

• Transform machine learning research code and prototypes into reliable, scalable production systems.
• Develop applications and services in C++, Java, or Python.
• Build containerized gRPC solutions with Java, Python, or Go clients.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development-to-production delivery.
• Configure and optimize NVIDIA Triton Inference Server deployments for high-performance inference.
• Profile and tune production workloads, write user documentation, and collaborate with end users and ML researchers.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• U.S. work authorization and eligibility to maintain the required government clearance are required; clearance sponsorship or nomination is not available.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in place of the degree.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, Vue, React, Vite, Node, NPM, and Git.
• Experience developing production software, CI/CD pipelines, containerized services, and ML deployment infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with video playback technologies such as HTML5 video, Vidstack, video.js, HLS, or DASH.
