Sr. Internal Communications & SharePoint Content Specialist

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; fully onsite

Pay range: $45–50 per hour

What you will do

• Draft emails, intranet content, presentations, job aids, and other internal communications.
• Build, design, publish, and update SharePoint pages.
• Support enterprise and divisional change management and adoption initiatives.
• Translate complex technology and business topics into concise, usable content for employees and leaders.
• Research, evaluate, and summarize complex information accurately and independently.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.

Requirements

• Strong corporate writing and editing skills with proven internal or external communications experience.
• Hands-on intermediate to advanced Microsoft SharePoint skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience creating publish-ready content.
• Organizational change management experience, including ADKAR or OCM.
• Strong operational coordination and logistics skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work fully onsite in McLean, Virginia.

Nice to have

• Basic video editing, video scripts, or multimedia content experience.
• Experience in complex industries such as IT, fintech, or healthcare.
• Writing samples or a professional portfolio.
