What you will do

• Conduct geotechnical field investigations, including boring layouts, drilling inspections, and geophysical surveys.
• Manage and coordinate the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms.
• Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples.
• Carry out geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase as needed.
• Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports and proposals.
• Collaborate with design teams, stakeholders, and clients in technical meetings.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 6 to 10+ years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field.
• PE license is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
