Geotechnical Project Manager

Location: Mentor, Ohio, or another Northeast Ohio office; US citizenship or permanent residency required

Salary: Minimum $90,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead and develop geotechnical teams through technical oversight, mentorship, and resource planning.
• Drive business development, secure new work, and build strategic client relationships.
• Oversee operational and financial performance, project profitability, and QA/QC standards.
• Lead field investigations, engineering analyses, geotechnical explorations, and soils and materials testing.
• Partner with clients, plan subsurface investigations, review construction drawings, and prepare proposals.
• Provide expert recommendations, resolve design challenges, and communicate engineering concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering; a graduate degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and technical skills.
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
• US citizenship or permanent residency required.
