What you will do

• Design and deliver individualized, play-based instruction for preschool students ages 3–5 with severe disabilities.
• Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional goals and interventions.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior specialists, and other service providers.
• Use Fridays for lesson planning, team collaboration, professional development, and administrative duties.
• Communicate with families in a culturally responsive manner to support learning at home and transitions into school.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) is required.
• Experience with preschool-aged children with severe physical, cognitive, or behavioral needs is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development, special education laws, and IEP processes.
• Strong collaboration, communication, patience, and adaptability skills.
• Caseload of up to 15 students.
