Autoclave Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Camarillo, California, United States; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Clean, wash, sterilize, restock, package, and organize equipment and components used across departments.
• Sterilize growth media, plate media, bio-waste, solutions, and other materials according to departmental requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Manufacturing to schedule sterilization work, maintain prescribed component targets, and control inventory by lot number.
• Flush, sanitize, stage, and dismantle pump systems while supporting Engineering and preparing manufacturing materials such as honey dippers.
• Provide purified water to Production Manufacturing, Engineering, Solutions, and R&D, and verify sterilizer effectiveness using biological samples.
• Maintain autoclaves and the surrounding area, complete daily drains and flushes, record sterilization cycles, and report issues to the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and cGMP.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, independent judgment, teamwork, and adaptability.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
