Manufacturing Technician II, In-Line Inspector - Sterile Filling (Biomanufacturing)

Location: Onsite in West Chester, Ohio, USA. 12-hour 2/2/3 night shift schedule.

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform manual visual, cosmetic, and physical inspections of sterile filling materials and maintain outgoing product quality.
• Operate, monitor, clean, and make minor adjustments to automated inspection equipment; remove jams and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Execute line clearances, housekeeping, material handling, palletizing, and product-flow activities in controlled and classified production areas.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, logs, inventory movements, and reconciliations using SAP.
• Support 5S, Kaizen events, problem-solving, and manual OEE data collection.
• Maintain required certifications, including visual inspection and cold-room access qualifications, and cross-train in other work areas.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow SOPs, batch records, work instructions, and specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality, visual inspection, or a regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or GMP environment is preferred.
• Basic mathematics skills, including weights, measures, percentages, unit conversions, and accurate production-data recording.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures, recognize abnormal conditions, and escalate quality, safety, equipment, and process concerns.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cleanrooms with aseptic gowning and meet physical requirements including standing, repetitive motion, climbing, kneeling, and moving objects with up to 100 pounds of force.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• At least one year of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of cGMP principles, lean manufacturing, Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
