Stem Cell Senior Research Associate (Stem Cell Research)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $74,800–$112,200 per year, plus annual bonus and equity awards

What you will do

• Coordinate production of program-relevant cell types, including stem cell-derived islets, for research projects.
• Culture human pluripotent stem cells in 2D and 3D and perform differentiation for in vitro and in vivo studies.
• Execute experiments consistently, follow SOPs, maintain laboratory records, and perform initial data analysis.
• Identify problems, suggest troubleshooting experiments, and design follow-up studies.
• Develop ideas to improve cell culture workflow consistency and efficiency.
• Communicate experimental results clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in biological sciences with 0–2 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with advanced human cell culture techniques and demonstrated proficiency in conducting and interpreting experiments.
• Experience developing human stem cell models and assays to evaluate targets and lead molecules.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, multitasking ability, and commitment to laboratory bench work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a timeline-driven environment and coordinate experiments with cross-functional teams.
• Ability and willingness to work rotating weekend shifts according to business needs and work on-site five days per week.
