Senior Hardware Engineer

Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite

Salary: $94,700–$125,000 annual base salary plus bonus

Develops integrated flight-test telemetry and data acquisition systems, including sensors, transmitters, receivers, recorders, and ground-station analysis tools for aerospace and defense programs.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of mixed-signal PWB hardware covering analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Oversee FPGA and microcontroller-based programmable digital logic design for performance and reliability.
• Define hardware architectures, improve existing designs, and support system-level solutions.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering on verification and qualification hardware and software.
• Analyze performance data during hardware bring-up and validation.
• Support manufacturing, production testing, RMA activities, sustaining engineering, documentation, and obsolescence management.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of hardware design and development experience with analog and digital circuit design.
• Knowledge of power supply design, signal integrity, and high-speed digital interfaces.
• Experience with EMC compliance, thermal management, and ruggedized hardware for harsh environments.
• Ability to independently own complex design challenges and collaborate across functions.
• Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
