What you will do

• Design and develop complex hardware systems featuring high-speed digital interfaces, memory subsystems, and embedded processors.
• Create architecture specifications, schematics, BOMs, and comprehensive design documentation.
• Implement hardware solutions using SoCs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
• Conduct board bring-up, electrical characterization, and validation using high-bandwidth oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Partner with firmware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure successful product delivery and root-cause investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in high-speed electronic product development.
• Expertise in DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5 DRAM architectures, as well as NAND/NOR Flash technologies.
• Proficiency with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and Gigabit Ethernet.
• Experience with SoC-based designs and DC-DC power converter architectures.
• Must be able to work onsite in the office in Newark, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Compute Express Link (CXL) products and technologies.
• Background in designing enterprise server hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of optical networking, optical modules, or fiber-optic communication.
• Proficiency with signal and power integrity simulation tools.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT).
