What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems independently.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and reports.
• Develop and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform mechanical engineering analysis and implement solutions for complex product issues.
• Lead or execute projects, develop suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Design and implement custom tooling, fixturing, and processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly of components and assemblies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of experience.
• Experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, or Design for Excellence principles.
• Experience designing mechanical systems with motors, actuators, bearings, guides, linkages, or motion mechanisms.
• Experience taking designs from concept through prototype, qualification, and production release.
• Ability to troubleshoot difficult mechanical issues independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor, display, automation, robotics, or capital-equipment systems.
• Knowledge of vacuum-compatible mechanisms, cleanroom equipment, particle-sensitive systems, or high-temperature hardware.
• Experience with servo motors, actuators, motion-control hardware, and mechanism-life calculations.
• Experience with NX, Inventor, comparable CAD tools, motion analysis, or FEA structural and thermal simulation.
• Professional proficiency in Korean or Japanese for collaboration with suppliers and engineering teams in Korea or Japan.
