What you will do

• Lead end-to-end mechanical design and development from requirements definition to manufacturing release.
• Perform detailed engineering analyses including structural, modal, vibration, thermal, and fluid flow modeling.
• Optimize systems for vibration isolation and damping performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams.
• Support design reviews (RDR, CDR, DDR), validation, and system integration.
• Manage manufacturing handoff, including documentation and vendor engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, Master’s with 4+ years, or Doctorate with 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical expertise in at least two areas: structural/FEA, modal/vibration, thermal, or fluid flow/CFD.
• Extensive experience with CAD assemblies and detailed drawings.
• Proven track record of taking ownership of sophisticated engineering problems.
• Experience creating procedures for manufacturing, field installation, and service.
• Strong decision-making skills with demonstrated accountability and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment or similar high-complexity hardware systems.
• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and precision engineering.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, and welding.
