Senior Revenue Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Draper, Utah, United States; hybrid, with four days per week in the office

Salary: $70,400–$110,605 USD annually for all other cities and states excluding the listed higher-cost markets. Other published ranges are $78,800–$123,805 and $98,900–$155,430 depending on geographic market.

What you will do

• Perform deal reviews for multi-element SaaS and software arrangements to determine accurate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606.
• Prepare revenue analyses, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Participate in the monthly close and support audit requests.
• Contribute to revenue-cycle process improvements, ERP enhancements, and related projects.
• Perform procedures supporting compliance with the SOX 404 control framework.
• Participate in ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Industry or public accounting experience focused on SaaS and software revenue recognition.
• Proficient technical and operational knowledge of ASC 606 and multi-element arrangements.
• Strong collaboration, prioritization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing requirements and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and analyzing large amounts of data.

Nice to have

• CPA, CPA candidate, or similar qualification.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Zuora Revenue.
