What you will do

• Provide member service, identify needs, support purchasing decisions, and resolve issues.
• Maintain optical merchandise presentation, including stocking, pricing, cleaning, organizing, and securing merchandise.
• Manage the Optical sales floor, including claims, returns, zoning, shrink identification, and damage handling.
• Receive and stock merchandise, maintain records, complete paperwork, and use optical-area equipment correctly.
• Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using cash registers and related equipment.
• Sell optical products and services by measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses; completing eyewear and contact lens orders; verifying prescriptions; collecting doctor-service payments; and performing and recording optometric pretests.

Requirements

• Licensed optician qualification is required for the position.
• Work onsite at the Sam’s Club location in Freehold, New Jersey.
• Handle prescription information, optical orders, payments, returns, and required documentation accurately.
• Provide member-focused service while following company policies, procedures, integrity, ethics, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and support team development.
