What you will do

• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a professional doctor’s office and pre-test room.
• Explain preliminary examinations and complete required patient paperwork.
• Perform exam pre-screening and patient testing before doctor examinations.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings for eligible patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, identify special needs, and coordinate with opticians, doctors, and retail management.
• Maintain accurate patient records, equipment, supplies, pharmaceuticals, referrals, and follow-up documentation.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge, ocular terminology, diseases, and abbreviations.
• Ability to give customers clear and concise instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Nice to have

• Previous retail or optical experience.
