Pre Grad Intern - Sam's (Pharmacy)

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, United States

Hourly wage: $24.50–$32.50 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases in accordance with pharmacy laws, company policies, and procedures.
• Enter prescription information, complete required forms and records, and maintain confidentiality of member and company information.
• Stock, secure, organize, and maintain pharmacy merchandise, supplies, displays, and documentation.
• Provide member service by identifying needs, supporting purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving concerns, and promoting products and services.
• Operate cash registers and related equipment to process purchases using the appropriate payment procedures.
• Handle claims and returns, rotate merchandise, remove damaged or expired goods, identify shrink, and maintain a safe shopping and pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Follow applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, company policies, confidentiality requirements, and compliance standards.
• Provide accurate documentation and maintain pharmacy records securely.
• Demonstrate member-service, teamwork, communication, integrity, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
