TL;DR
Senior Technical Program Manager - Constellations (Aerospace): Managing highly complex Blue Ring portfolio programs across technical execution, budget, schedule, risk, and customer deliverables with an accent on aerospace development programs and space systems. Focus on establishing program baselines, leading cross-functional planning and financial controls, and designing recovery plans for schedule and performance variances.

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Relocation assistance is provided. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee under export-control regulations.

Base pay: $160,618.00–$224,864.85 for Colorado applicants; $169,624.00–$237,473.25 for Washington applicants. Other site ranges may differ.

hirify.global develops reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems, with this role supporting the In-Space Systems business unit and Blue Ring portfolio.

What you will do

  • Manage program deliverables, performance to plan, customer statements of work, and program execution.
  • Coordinate technical scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, cash flow, procurement, and contractual data requirements.
  • Lead program-level financial performance, planning and control, risk management, and recovery planning.
  • Establish operating rhythms through staff meetings, operating reviews, corporate reporting, and planning cycles.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Enterprise Technology, and engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain process alignment.
  • Represent business unit interests in proposals, including scope, price versus cost, resource allocation, and program sign-off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of program management or program planning experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with aerospace development programs or space systems.
  • Strong understanding of DFARS-based contracts.
  • Expertise using MS Project for labor-loaded integrated schedules.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain professional relationships, make timely decisions, and deliver results in structured, multifaceted environments.

Nice to have

  • Active Top Secret clearance and experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • Experience managing development projects and programs in dynamic, evolving organizations.
