Team Leader (12 month contract)

Location: Central Coast NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with field-based work, work-from-home flexibility, and occasional travel to the Sydney (Bella Vista) office.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and support a team of care workers delivering in-home services.
• Promote safe work practices, employee wellbeing and a positive safety culture.
• Conduct interviews, onboarding activities, inductions, one-to-one meetings, field assessments and team meetings.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, compliance requirements and payroll-related administration.
• Support client escalations, service enquiries and Contact Centre support rotations when required.
• Work with Human Resources and operational stakeholders to improve services and operational outcomes.

Requirements

• Previous people leadership experience.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing employees.
• Confidence managing performance conversations and providing constructive feedback.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to client outcomes, quality standards and safe work practices.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in the community, aged care or health sector.
• Relevant leadership qualifications.
